The following is a short history of the CANecticut Red Fox Chapter of the Brewery Collectibles Club of America:
In 1977 Marie Miller mailed a letter to all BCCA members who were living in Connecticut inviting them to a meeting to discuss the formation of a new Connecticut BCCA Chapter. The meeting was attended by Marie Miller, Mike Damato, Stan Horzepa and Geo. Miller. It led to the beginning of our Chapter, which was then named by Stan Horzepa "The CANecticut Red Fox" Chapter. We were accepted by the BCCA in 1978 as their 78th Chapter.
Chapter members are of all ages, occupations and genders. We collect every kind of breweriana imaginable from Anheuser Busch steins to Zing beer cans. We welcome you to attend a Chapter function and to join our Chapter. Check out our Membership Information page for more details.
Our Chapter has approximately 60 active members. While membership in the BCCA is not a requirement of membership it is strongly encouraged. Check out the BCCA Web Site for more information.
